The fluoroscopy is a direct examination of the patient placed between the X-ray tube and the phosphor screen. It can do direct observation of comprehensive dynamics, such as heart beat, diaphragm activity, gastrointestinal motility, joint activity, etc. It can also be used in X-ray angiography for positioning observation, gastrointestinal angiography, and indication of diagnostic and therapeutic operations, such as cardiac catheterization, fracture reduction, and foreign body removal. X-ray fluoroscopy is most commonly used in the chest, and the lungs, pleura, mediastinum, and heart and large vessel disease are examined. It can also be used for the examination of bones, soft tissues, foreign bodies and gases in the body cavity, stones, contraceptive rings, etc.
