Intravenous gallbladder and biliary angiography

X-ray examination of the gallbladder and biliary tract is performed by venography, which is a method of injecting a contrast agent from the vein and secreting it into the biliary tract through the liver to make it visible. Cholecystogram and cholangiography using this method are often clearer than oral cholecystography. It is suitable for those who do not develop the gallbladder during oral radiography, those who have gastrointestinal diseases, the contrast agent does not easily enter the intestine, or can not be absorbed well in the intestine. Those who have already removed the gallbladder need to know the biliary tract. However, this method is prone to allergic reactions, so allergy tests must be performed before imaging.
