Pronator syndrome

In 1951, Seyffarth first reported round pronator syndrome, and 17 cases were caused by the compression of the nerve when the median nerve passed through the pronation round muscle or superficial flexor muscle. At that time, not all of the pronatory round muscle syndromes described were pronatory round muscle compression, so the clinical nomenclature was not exact. However, since this kind of lesion has been clinically known as pronuclei syndrome for a long time, this nomenclature is still in use today.
