Elderly thyroid cancer

Carcinoma of thyroid is a common malignant tumor of the head and neck, which accounts for 1% to 2% of systemic malignancies. It is more common in women. The prognosis of thyroid cancer is relatively good. The vast majority of thyroid cancers occur in young adults. It is rare for thyroid cancer in the elderly, and the degree of malignancy is high, and the prognosis is poor.
