Chronic epididymitis
Chronic epididymitis can be prolonged without complete cure of acute epididymitis, or it can be without an acute phase, caused by long-term mild infection. Some cases are secondary to chronic bacterial prostatitis, and the pathogens and infection pathways are similar to those of acute epididymitis.
