Bulimia nervosa
This disease is an uncontrollable polyphagia with periodic onset and can occur in anorexia nervosa, but it is not necessarily accompanied by this symptom. This symptom group contains two main components. One is force majeure to force yourself to eat more, the other is to manage vomiting to avoid weight gain, and sometimes laxative abuse. The weight of such patients is usually kept within the normal range, and women's menstrual periods can still be normal. Women are more common. According to foreign reports, the prevalence of women with this disease is about 1% to 3%. The prevalence of men is about 1/10 of that of women. The prevalence is similar around the world. The disease usually starts in late adolescence or early adulthood and can last for years. Most are chronic or periodic. The long-term prognosis is uncertain.
