Small intestine carcinoid

Small intestine carcinoids are tumors that originate from intestinal mucosal Kulcitsky cells. Kulchitsky cells are also called intestinal chromaffin cells. Typical intestinal chromaffin cells contain secreted particles and are stained yellow after treatment with potassium dichromate. It also has a strong silverophilicity. After fixing with formaldehyde, it is stained with silver nitrate solution, and the particles in the cytoplasm are stained brown-black.
