Monocular and double upper muscle paralysis
Double elevator paralysis is the simultaneous paralysis of the superior rectus and inferior obliques in one eye. The clinical manifestations are suffering from strabismus of the eye, which is often combined with horizontal strabismus and ptosis. Such ptosis is mostly false or mixed, which is easy to misdiagnose congenital ptosis.
