Pediatric Marfan Syndrome
Marfan syndrome is also known as congenital mesoderm dysplasia, Marchesani syndrome, spider indications, and limb slenderness. It is characterized by peripheral connective tissue malnutrition, skeletal abnormalities, inner eye diseases, and cardiovascular abnormalities. It is a genetic disease with connective tissue as a basic defect. French pediatrician Marfan first reported the case in 1896, and similar cases have been reported since then. It was formally called Marfan syndrome in 1931.
