Retinitis pigmentosa-obesity-multi-finger syndrome in children
Retinitis pigmentosa-obesity-multi-finger syndrome (Laurence_Moon_Biedl syndrome), also known as retinitis pigmentosa multi-finger (toe) obesity genital abnormality syndrome, Biemond syndrome, sexual naiveness, pigmented retinitis multi-finger deformity syndrome and so on. It is rare in the clinic. Its clinical features are obesity, hypogonadism, pigmented retinitis, mental retardation, polydactyly (toe) deformity and other abnormalities. It is a congenital genetic disease. Because the patient has no fertility, the genetic method is not easy to determine, and it may be recessive in autosomal.
