Vocal cord summary
Vocal nodule, also known as singer nodule or teacher nodule, occurs in children called shouting nodules. It is a special type of chronic laryngitis, formed by inflammatory lesions. The main clinical symptom is hoarseness. Laryngoscopy can make a clinical diagnosis. Treatment includes proper vocal cord rest, corrective vocalization methods, and surgical treatment.
