Nodular fasciitis

Nodular fasciitis, also known as nodular pseudosarcomatous fasciitis, is a reactive myofibroblast proliferation. It is a solid single nodule, sometimes tender, and is located in the deep myometrium and often extends to the subcutaneous tissue. The onset of both sexes is equal, with an average age of onset of 40 years.
