Free heparin time

Free heparin time is also called toluidine blue correction test. In addition to natural anticoagulant substances (antithrombin and protein C system), the human body can produce pathological anticoagulant substances, such as heparinoid substances, under pathological conditions. This test is mainly used to detect whether heparin and heparinoids are contained in the blood.
