Waiper test

The Wai Pei test uses a known Proteus bacterial cell antigen to detect the titer of the corresponding antibody in the patient's serum to assist the diagnosis of febrile disease caused by rickettsial infection. The use of three non-specific serum antibody titers to OX-2, OX-19, and OX-K to increase the titer can help the diagnosis of ascariasis, typhus, jungle typhoid and fever.
