T cell transformation test

T cell transformation test is also called T cell rejuvenation test. When cultured in vitro, T cells are stimulated by mitogens such as phytohemagglutinin (PHA) to transform large mother cells. It has been used in clinical practice as one of the indicators for measuring human cellular immune function. When cellular immunity is deficient, this transformation function is also reduced.
