β-N-acetylglucosidase
& beta; -N-acetylglucosidase (NAG) can hydrolyze & beta; -N-acetylglucosamine, and also hydrolyze & beta; -N-acetylgalactosidase. The enzyme is widely present in various tissues, organs, body fluids and blood cells, and is an acid hydrolase in lysosomes. The measurement methods include colorimetry and fluorescence spectrophotometry.
