Vascular inspection

Vessel inspection is an auxiliary inspection method used to check whether the blood vessels are normal. Vascular inspection is a method by which doctors use vision to observe the whole or local blood vessels of a patient. The inspections include: jugular vein examination, carotid pulsation examination, and hepatic-jugular vein reflux signs. Inspection methods are simple but can sometimes provide important clues to the diagnosis of certain diseases. The site to be inspected should be fully exposed and under natural light during the inspection.
