Pancreatic sarcoma

Pancreatic sarcoma refers to a malignant tumor derived from the mesenchymal tissue of the pancreas. Primary pancreatic sarcomas reported in domestic and foreign literature include leiomyosarcoma, chondrosarcoma, malignant fibrous histiocytoma, fibrosarcoma, rhabdomyosarcoma, malignant schwannomas, angiosarcoma, Malignant hemangiopericytoma is reported in individual cases. Leiomyosarcoma is the most common pancreatic sarcoma reported in the literature. A total of 13 Chinese literatures were searched from 1994 to 2000 in CBM, including 8 cases of primary pancreatic sarcoma, all of which were leiomyosarcoma (6 cases) and 5 pancreatic metastatic sarcomas.
