Viper time

Viper venom is a strong activator of factor X. Without the participation of factor IX, it can combine with factors V, X and platelet factor 3 (PF3) to form exogenous prothrombinase and coagulate the blood. When the tested plasma lacks factors Ⅱ, Ⅴ, and X, blood coagulation is impaired. When the tested plasma factors Ⅱ, Ⅴ, and X are normal, blood coagulation can be accelerated.
