Urine lysozyme

Lysozyme is a small molecular weight alkaline proteolytic enzyme that has the function of solubilizing certain bacteria. Patients with acute lymphoblastic leukemia have a tendency to improve their lysozyme in the urine at the same time when their condition is relieved and their blood is improved. The determination of lysozyme in urine is a good indicator for the efficacy of leukemia.
