Mycoplasma pneumoniae complement binding test

There are 15 species of mycoplasma. Mycoplasma pneumoniae (M. pneumoniae, MP), U. Urealylicum, M. hominis, and mycoplasma reproductive tract ( M.genitalium). Mycoplasma pneumoniae mainly causes upper respiratory tract infections, tracheobronchitis, and mycoplasma pneumonia. Mycoplasma humanis, Ureaplasma urealyticum, and Mycoplasma genitalium are pathogens that cause reproductive tract diseases. Ureaplasma urealyticum can cause non-gonococcal urethritis, testicular epididymitis, chronic prostatitis, cervicitis, vaginitis, etc., and can also cause urinary tract stones. Ureaplasma urealyticum can also infect the fetus through the placenta, causing spontaneous abortion, premature birth, stillbirth and low-weight fetuses. It can also attach to the surface of sperm, causing infertility. Mycoplasma humanis can cause pelvic inflammatory disease, salpingitis, and infections in the newborn. Mycoplasma genitalium can cause urethritis and pelvic infections.
