Umbilical fistula

Umbilical urethral fistulas caused by umbilical ureteral failure are clinically rare. Umbilical leaks are the main feature, and local symptoms may occur during infection. Methylene blue was injected into the bladder to observe whether the leaked solution was blue stained. A contrast agent, excretory cystourethrography, or cystography was injected into the fistula to confirm the diagnosis. The treatment method is to surgically remove the fistula. Because some patients may have lower urinary tract obstruction, attention should be paid to removing the obstruction.
