Tumor neuropeptide receptor imaging

Radionuclide-labeled tumor neuropeptide receptor imaging is the youngest and most dynamic branch of nuclear medicine. Receptor imaging of radionuclide-labeled ligands such as vasoactive intestinal peptide (VIP) or somatostatin (SST) has confirmed its effectiveness in clinical applications. Moreover, these imaging methods can also help treat tumors effectively by providing the correct in vivo characteristics of tumor receptor expression.
