Islet cell membrane antibody
Islet cell surface antibody (ICAS) is an autoantibody against islet cell membrane surface antigen. It is an IgG antibody with organ specificity, not species specificity. ICAS can act on the islet cell surface antigens to form antigen-antibody complexes, thereby affecting the normal function of the cells.
