Normal adults have different defecation times, but it is more common once a day; the amount of defecation is 100-250g, and meat eaters are less than vegetarians. Under pathological conditions, if the number of defecations decreases and the amount of each discharge increases, it is more common in diseases of the upper intestine; on the contrary, if the number of defecations increases and the amount of each discharge decreases, it is mostly a disease of the lower intestine.
