Stida drum sound

Skoda's tympany is a "Sdadar sound", also known as "Sdadar resonance". When there is some degree of relaxation or atelectasis in the lung tissue, the percussion is mostly dull drum sound. When the pleural fluid pressures the lung tissue above it to form atelectasis, the lungs above the percussion fluid may have drum sounds; the normal lung tissues above the consolidation site of pneumonia may also have drum sounds.
