Anti-nucleolar RNA antibody

The nucleus contains three RNA polymerase protein aggregates (RNA polymerases I, II, and III) responsible for different RNA transcriptions. Each complex consists of several subunits, and some contain the same RNA polymerase component. Autoantibodies are present in all three anti-RNA polymerases. These antibodies are often presented together in the same patient's serum.
