The pancreas is actually an organ made up of two glands with different functions. One is the exocrine glands of the pancreas, which secrete the pancreas into the duodenum through a pancreatic duct. Determination of enzymes secreted by the pancreas in body fluids has certain auxiliary diagnostic value for pancreatic diseases.
