Kidney transplant

Kidney transplantation usually includes both autologous and allogeneic transplantation. Autologous kidney transplantation is the removal of the kidney and re-implantation into the same body. The donor and recipient are the same person. For example, when the renal artery is narrow at the beginning, the kidney can be autologously moved to the popliteal fossa. Allogeneic kidney transplantation is a transplantation between different individuals of one species. The latter has varying degrees of immune confrontation, leading to rejection of the transplanted kidney.
