Cerebrovascular malformation surgery

Cerebrovascular malformations are congenital vascular abnormalities in the early stages of the embryo. They can be divided into 5 categories according to their morphology, namely arteriovenous malformations, venous hemangiomas, varicose veins, capillaries, and cavernous hemangioma. Arteriovenous malformations are most common in cerebrovascular malformations. Cerebrovascular malformations are also known as cerebral hemangioma and cerebral arteriovenous malformations. It is not a real tumor, but it is customarily included in intracranial tumors, accounting for 1.5% to 4%. The purpose of cerebral arteriovenous vascular malformation surgery is to prevent rebleeding, relieve epilepsy, treat or improve nervous system dysfunction.
