Retropubic cystectomy
1. Prostatic hyperplasia causes mechanical obstruction of the bladder and neck, and is not effective after non-surgical treatment. 2. Residual urine volume exceeds 60ml. 3. Due to obstruction induced diverticulum or stones, hydronephrosis in the kidney and ureter. 4. Chronic or recurrent urinary tract infections due to obstruction.
