Cardiac suture

Atrial septal defect is a common congenital heart defect, accounting for about 23% of congenital heart disease. There are more women than men, and the disease is more common in women. The ratio of women to men is 2: 1 to 4: 1. It is formed due to the hypoplasia of the relevant tissues that constitute the atrial septum at the embryonic stage. However, some people think that pregnant women with rubella or viral infection in the third trimester of pregnancy, and the use of certain drugs (such as reaction stop, etc.) can cause fetal hypoplasia and cause atrial septal defects. Modern treatment methods are mainly cardiac sutures.
