Hiccup
Hiccup is a clonic involuntary contracture of the auxiliary respiratory muscles such as the diaphragm and intercostal muscles, with the sudden closure of the door during the inspiratory phase, and the air quickly flows into the trachea, making specific sounds. Hiccups are frequent or last for more than 24 hours. They are called refractory hiccups, and they occur in certain diseases.
