No milk secretion after childbirth

Lactation is a physiological process consisting mainly of trilogy. One is the production of milk. This is controlled by the hypothalamus and anterior pituitary. The anterior pituitary gland secretes a hormone called pituitary lactogen, which is the basis of milk secretion. The second is milk secretion. Breast cells make milk and are secreted into the acinar. The third is the excretion of milk. Those with reduced prolactin (PRL) secretion have no milk secretion or secretion after delivery. It is generally believed that more than 60% of the anterior pituitary tissue is destroyed before symptoms appear, more than 75% are more obvious, and more than 95% are severe. According to the degree of pituitary involvement, it can be divided into total anterior pituitary hypofunction and partial anterior pituitary hypofunction.
