Itchy skin in winter

Winter pruritus is more common in adults over 40 years of age, and the lower extremities are particularly severe. These people have weakened sebaceous glands and dry skin. In winter, it takes a long time to bathe, uses more soap, and dries the skin. As the temperature drops, itching begins.
