Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, also known as gradually frozen human disease, referred to as ALS disease, is a type of motor neuron disease that involves the upper motor neurons (brain, brain stem, spinal cord) and affects the lower motor neurons ( A chronic progressive degenerative disease of the cranial nerve nucleus, anterior horn cells of the spinal cord) and its inner trunk, limbs, and head and face muscles.
