For the diagnosis of retroperitoneal abscess, a physical examination revealed a perrenal abscess, tenderness of swelling of the ribs and ribs, spasms of the lumbar muscles, and depression of the lumbar skin. Retroperitoneal abscess refers to a localized purulent infection that occurs in the retroperitoneal space. Its occurrence is often secondary to infections of the abdominal organs, retroperitoneal organs, spine or twelfth rib, pelvic retroperitoneal abscess, and bacteremia. Abscesses can invade upward into the mediastinum, down into the thigh along the femoral hernia, and can penetrate into the abdominal cavity, gastrointestinal tract, pleura, bronchi, and even form chronic persistent fistulas. Retroperitoneal abscesses are far less common in clinics than abdominal abscesses. Failure to obtain timely diagnosis and effective treatment can often induce multiple organ dysfunction syndrome (MODS) and cause death.
