Intermittent nasal obstruction

Nasal obstruction is one of the common symptoms of otolaryngology. The most common causes include rhinitis, nasal septum deviation, nasal polyps, and sinusitis. Nasal obstruction of simple chronic rhinitis is intermittent, alternating, sometimes light and heavy, and the lower nasal congestion is heavier when lying sideways. In theory, nasal congestion can be solved by different treatment methods. Nasal congestion can cause patients to have no way to breathe through their noses. Patients must breathe with their mouths open, so that everyday simple activities such as eating, drinking, talking or sleeping are very disturbing. Then the nasal congestion also makes the patient unable to concentrate during the day and feel unable to breathe. Some patients may have symptoms of anxiety or headache.
