Ciliary congestion

Congestion and redness of the eyes is one of the common signs in ophthalmic patients. Red eye is often a general concept, which refers to conjunctival congestion and ciliary congestion. Conjunctival congestion is limited to conjunctival disease or related superficial stimuli, while ciliary congestion includes diseases of the cornea, sclera, and anterior pigmentation, often with some severity.
