Menstrual edema
Menstrual edema refers to edema that occurs during menstruation. The location and degree of edema vary from person to person, but the above eyelids are more pronounced. The upper eyelid is swollen and shiny, and the patient has a heavy feeling. In severe cases, the eyelid looks like a "silkworm".
