Spastic constipation
Spastic constipation belongs to functional constipation. It is caused by excessive colon movement, causing colon cramps, too narrow bowel cavity, and constipation caused by inability to pass stool. It is also called irritable bowel syndrome. It is characterized by constipation-diarrhea Or long-term diarrhea.
