Syphilis infection

Neurosyphilis usually occurs years or decades after syphilis infection, but the cerebrospinal fluid of some patients in the early stages of syphilis has abnormal changes. Neurosyphilis is a disease caused by the infection of the nervous system by Treponema pallidum (Treponema pallidum).
