Cold nodule
Thyroid adenoma: Most are single, slow growing, asymptomatic. The thyroid scan was a "warm nodule." If it is a toxic adenoma, it appears as "hot nodule". Adenomas can also occur with bleeding and necrosis liquefaction showing "cold nodules."
