Eye movement disorder

Eye movement, tackle, and abductor nerves have the function of controlling the movement of extraocular muscles of the eyeball, which are often called eyeball motor nerves. When the aforementioned nerves or nerve nucleus are damaged alone or in combination, eye movement cannot or diplopia may occur, and when the complete damage occurs, the extraocular muscles are paralyzed and the eyeballs are immobilized. Extraocular muscle damage, infection, or paralysis of extraocular muscles caused by myopathy can also cause eye movement inability, clinically referred to as eye movement disorders. Here mainly describes the eye movement disorders that occur when the eye motor nerve or the nucleus is damaged. Eye movement disorders have important clinical significance for the localization diagnosis of skull base lesions, brain stem lesions and neurological lesions.
