Increased vagal tone

Sympathetic and vagus nerve tensions often change to better regulate cardiovascular physiological functions. In general, increased vagal tone is not a morbid problem. The vagus nerve is the tenth pair of brain nerves. It is the longest and most widely distributed pair of brain nerves and contains sensory, motor, and parasympathetic nerve fibers. The vagus nerve governs most organs of the respiratory and digestive systems, such as the senses, movements of the organs such as the heart, and the secretion of glands. As a result, vagus nerve damage can cause circulatory, digestive, and respiratory dysfunctions. Sinoatrial block Because the tissue around the sinoatrial node cannot normally transmit the impulses from the sinoatrial node, a conduction block occurs between the sinoatrial node and the atrial muscle. It may be due to the weak impulses produced by the sinoatrial node or the low stress of the surrounding atrial tissue. Found in vagus nerve tension, coronary heart disease, cardiomyopathy, myocarditis and its sequelae, acute myocardial infarction and other diseases.
