Empty nest syndrome

When the children grow up, they are separated in succession, leaving only the elderly to live alone. These empty-nest elderly people, old couples, or two generations of elderly families form "empty nest families." With the development of society, the "empty nest elderly" has become one of the most important aging issues in today's society. From the perspective of development, in the next 10 years, as the parents of the only child enter the aging stage, the "empty nest family" will become the main form of elderly families. Due to loneliness and lack of spiritual comfort, the elderly in the empty nest will develop "senior empty nest syndrome".
