Superficial fasciitis

The superficial fascia in the anterior and lateral regions of the chest extends to the superficial fascia in the neck, abdomen, and upper limbs and contains fat, superficial blood vessels, lymphatic vessels, cutaneous nerves, and breasts. The thickness varies widely, with the front of the sternum thinner and the rest thicker. Myofasciitis, also known as fibrositis, can only be regarded as a comprehensive concept and has been rarely used in recent years. Fibrositis means that some patients with low back pain have small nodules on the surface of the iliac spine muscle or the attachment of the iliac muscle, with pain and tenderness, and sometimes they can also be found on the hips.
