Breast tenderness with menstruation

Premenstrual breast tenderness: Many women have breast fullness, stiffness, and tenderness during menstrual cramps; in severe cases, breasts can be uncomfortable with slight vibration or collision, and the original particles or nodules are more obvious. This is due to increased levels of estrogen in the premenstrual body, hyperplasia of the mammary glands, and edema of intermammary tissues. After the menstrual period, these changes disappear.
