Urethral and penile tuberculosis

The urethra has a strong resistance to tuberculosis bacteria. The urethra is affected by both genital tuberculosis and urinary tuberculosis. However, urethral tuberculosis is still very rare. Urinary tuberculosis mainly occurs in men, and it has severe renal tuberculosis. Among urogenital tuberculosis, tuberculosis is a very rare disease with an incidence of less than 1%.
