Superior oblique tendon sheath syndrome

Superior oblique tendon sheath syndrome (superior oblique tendon sheath syndrome) refers to excessive thickening or adhesion of the upper oblique tendon and sheath caused by congenital anatomic abnormalities or acquired trauma or surgery, which restricts the lower oblique muscle. The upward movement causes the eyeball to be fixed in a downward gaze state.
